MEMBERS HAVE A RIGHT TO:

• Be treated fairly, equally, and with respect by the club, its committees, and its members.

• Learn and socialize in an environment free from harassment and discrimination.

MEMBERS HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO:

•Treat others fairly and respectfully and behave responsibly.

• Refrain from hostile, negative, disruptive, or destructive behavior that affects or is directed at the club or members.

• Consume alcohol responsibly and refrain from excessive alcohol consumption, intoxication, or behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate during club events. • Use of illegal drugs is not permitted at any club event

• Avoid offensive language, gestures, or suggestions at events and when utilizing social media.

• Maintain the harmony and good name of the club and its members, both within the club and in the community.

• Abide by and uphold GSPGA By-laws and the Code of Conduct.

BREACH OF THE CLUB CODE OF CONDUCT:

•Reported breaches may be investigated and resolved by the Code of Conduct committee/club officers.

• A finding may result in one year of probation. A second breach while on probation may result in permanent dismissal, revocation of membership, and exclusion from future club-sponsored events.

• After one year of probation without further disciplinary action, the individual will be fully reinstated.

GRIEVANCE:

• Grievances must be submitted in writing within 30 days and should include supporting proof when possible; hearsay alone is not sufficient.

• If a grievance involves a club officer, that officer will not participate in the committee review because of the conflict of interest.

• The accuser has the burden of proof, and the accused has the right to respond and defend themselves.

• When both parties are willing, a meeting may be arranged in an effort to resolve the grievance promptly.

Participation Agreement Membership in GSPGA, or attendance/participation in a GSPGA event, reflects the individual’s and family members’ willingness to abide by the Club Code of Conduct, By-laws, and applicable event rules

Memberships Fees and Payment Options

Golden State Pygmy Goat Association (GSPGA) now accepts payment for show entries, membership fees,
sponsorship, and donations via Zelle or Venmo. 
  Don't forget to mail in the Membership form and/or Sponsorship form, if applicable.

Venmo

Using the Venmo option adds an additional 4% to each selection. As with cash or check payments, no refunds are given for any reason.

You still have the option to not pay this fee if you submit your check payment via postal mail

From Our Board

Hold Harmless Agreement:

          I agree to hold Golden State Pygmy Goat Association (GSPGA) & any grounds a show is held at, its officers, directors, and all personnel associated therewith harmless from any and all legal action to which they might become subject resulting from any incident at a GSPGA event/show. This Hold Harmless Agreement shall also extend to the owners and/or operators of the grounds and facilities which may be used by my family, my animals, and myself.

          I have also read, understood, and agreed to all the rules and provisions in the show bill and entry forms pertaining to this event/show. I understand that all attendees are responsible for minors, guests, and/or animals while on the premises of any GSPGA event/show. Any vandalism, damages, or inappropriate behavior may result in the request for restitution of damages, expulsion from premises, and/or loss of show registration fees, depending upon the severity of action. I further agree to keep all dogs on a leash outside the barn area and away from the goat pens and arena.

    the first to learn of meetings and shows, as well as discounting entry fees
    for our shows.

    Members will receive meeting announcements and emailed updates. Updates will include show schedules and results, news regarding NPGA, occasional articles of interest on goat related topics, local breeder information, goats for sale, etc.

  • Definitely. You can switch Memberships, upgrade, or make changes to your membership anytime.

  • Memberships are renewed annually, GSPGA Dues are due annually in January of each year.

    If you choose not to renew, simply do not submit the renewal fee.
